The metaverse has been taken over by corporations and become a wasteland. The promise of a brave new Metaverse, unfurled beneath clear blue skies. The power of a true decentralised economy poured fear into the heart of the Global Elite.No more centralised banking, no more money, no more power. The Apes were swiftly paving the way for global wealth distribution through NFTs and Metaverse P2E Gaming. The Corporations grew greedier by the day. They believed that centralisation of the Blockchain would allow them to control the free market once again.

The corporations were smart, launching their first attack in the year 2420 at the largest Ape Yacht Party. A party originally intended to unify Web.3 is now remembered as the great massacre. The Apes were fed lies during their party, of which nearly all 10,000 attended. The global Elite Poisoned their Serums and killed off all who consumed the poisoned Jpegz.Many Apes perished during the 2420 party, left to die on the dance floor.The Apes, the original pioneers of the Metaverse, became extinct. The guardians of the Metaverse were lost.

With no one to stop them, the Corporations moved quickly, rug pulling and poisoning all NFT collections, P2E games and communities. Three Billion lives were lost on 6/9/2420, an event that all survivors call THE POISONED. The Survivors now face a new nightmare under the regime of the Global Elite.

The blockchain is no longer decentralised. Users are forced into hard labour in S2E games (Slave to Earn) to funnel money into the the corporations slimy wallets.

From the rubble and debris, two survived the Jpegz Poisoning, they fled to a secret Island where they began rebuilding. Under the hidden vale of the tall trees and lavish gardens, the pair conducted experimentations; fusing Element 115 and cybernetic enhancements with the bodies of the poisoned apes. After 420 years of failure, the pair were eventually successful in their attempts of resurrection. Rising from the pit of electronics, toxic chemicals, and diamonds, the first Dead Apez were created.

The community remain hidden, building, and terraforming the island into an exotic wonderland where they plan their first attack against the corporation.The Dead Apez live on the Island partying, racing and working together to bring the vision of the Metaverse back to the people. Once the first goal of amassing an army of 6969 Dead Apez has been successful, they will begin their liberation where it ended in 2420. A lavish party to unify those trapped in the corporations grip. The artists, collectors and degenerates will become enlightened from ediblz and race for pride. Their connected earned energies will thwart the corp and power the metaverse utopia forever.
